WARNING – Vent Alert
Some people amaze me with their lack of knowledge, especially scientifically in regards to the environment. It is a fact that glaciers record atmospheric conditions, if you don’t want to believe it you have I-S-S-U-E-S. You need to do your research. People in general are just ignorant when it comes to science and history in general. They think they know everything but they don’t.
What spurred this you ask? Customers arguing with my mother about weather, glaciers and the atmosphere. They stupid response to support their answer “I saw it on Good Morning America” I don’t have a problem with the show in general, I watched every morning for several years. It the fact that someone would believe what they see on T.V. so easily, if it doesn’t come from a researcher/scientist directly I don’t believe it (w/the exception of documentaries).
